Downtime
Slade Wilson never has much in the way of idle time. Even if he's not out earning a paycheck at the expense of some stupid bastard's life, he's always thinking.
At the moment, he's specifically thinking that he's about due to fuck up Cliff Zmeck again. After all, he did say he was going to make it a personal mission to make sure that son of a bitch doesn't spend more than two days in a solid body, and he's been lax on that. Time to start packing the null-field weapons.
As he fires off a note to Calculator to get that supply taken care of, his eye drifts as it always does to one little drawer off to the left of his desk. The one containing a disc which miraculously houses the digitized soul of his son. He has the Titans to thank for that, and he likely has them to thank for Rose going rogue as well. Those goddamned idiot kids.
Still, Jericho wasn't exactly happy with the Titans when Cyborg pulled this stunt and trapped the kid on the disc. Maybe it's time to see what can be done here.
He rolls his chair over to the drawer, and pulls out the disc, gazing at it for a moment.
Then, Slade thinks "hell with it" and slides it into the drive on his high-powered computer, to see what might come up on big-screen monitor. If anything.
